Integra Systems, Inc has been selected by Firerock Wireless to actively deploy an integrated Wi-Fi hotzone in Fountain Hills Arizona. The service area for the pilot project will cover approximately 2 square miles and will facilitate high speed wireless connectivity within the Fountain Hills business district at speeds of up to 10 mbs. The estimated daily usage fee will be less that $5.00.
The project involves the extensive deployment of wireless "hot spots" which will provide wireless Internet access to many retail and resort areas. Additional features will include the complete integration of services on as an Application Service Provider. Subscribers will be able to take advantage of additional communication, security and specialty applications that will not be readily available on any other Internet service provider.
